My prime 4 pluss turns off once in awhile any thought
Need more info.
Is it when you’re actually playing or the deck is idle? Any issues with power or grounding where you live? What firmware version are you running?
When playing ? It doesn’t happen often however its has done this a few times. Just wondering if it is os other than it turning off it seems to be a glitch not sure
If you haven’t already done so, upgrade it to the latest version that “everyone” else is on.
If your prime 4 doesn’t then turn off by itself, you’ll know it was some wierd glitch with that older firmware.
If your prime 4 still keeps turning itself off, even though no one else’s prime 4 with the same firmware version as you, doesn’t… then you’ll know it’s a hardware fault within your own particular Prime 4
You need to try and see what’s happening next time it does it. Are you playing a particular track, is the unit overheating?
Something random like this relies on the user collecting information to be able to diagnose why it’s happening.
Its totally random, like i said it happens once in awhile, im thinking maybe a power surge??? Only researching other than that this machine is a BEAST by far, i also own pioneer dj xz i just hope i won’t get any other issues. I’ve come to a decision and conclusion, that I’m going to set up a back up input so i won’t have “Dead Air” waiting for a reboot of my controller, its stand alone to an extent…
