Prime 4 decks stopped working after updating

So, I updated my prime 4 to 4.2, and immediately after rebooting, my left deck stopped working and the right one started glitching. I checked the vinyl mode, didn’t change anything. It registers my touch on the platter, but no jog. But it does register noise when jogging and once in a while, the slightest movement. The right one was glitchy, like every 15 degrees of rotation or so, it wouldn’t register for a few degrees of rotation. Now it’s also not working like the left one, and does pretty much the same thing. I contacted Denon customer support, and they insist it’s the hardware, even though it was in its case, updated with an open lid on the case, and not removed before or after the update, other than to remove the hard drive to troubleshoot redoing the firmware. Tried all that, issues persisted. I doubt it’s affordable for me to send my decks out of state to be repaired, and I can’t afford new ones. So trying to see if anyone has some advice? Anyone done repairs on the prime 4 themselves with success? Has anyone else had any issues like this?

Not a solution, but wondering if you have downgraded?

Im guessing you tried a factory reset, then do the update to the update before 4.2 and see if you get full controll again. When you did the update was it through wifi? Thumb drive? Wired laptop connection?

I initially did it through wifi, but yeah I did the factory reset and everything. Walked through it all with Denon support. I tried downgrading via USB, and through computer. And testing the demo tracks with the downgraded firmware without my drive in it.

I am having issues with mine too! It wont load any of the demo tracks or my soundcloud tracks, it wont audio preview or even load in a deck and it is not reading my SD card or usbs! it is 4.2.0 I beleive.
