I basically gave up on the Prime 4+ after the LEDs burned out, having done nothing myself, and the audio dropout issues plaguing 4.x series.
I turned the Prime 4+ on a few days ago and the CUE audio is broken.
CUE + Preview broken, and the Master/CUE knob no longer adjusts Master volume.
If I twist Master/CUE CLOCKWISE past 12:00, the Master cuts out.
Just beyond ■■■■■■. I have stuff over 30 years. I keep good care of my stuff.
This device is just faulty and Denon refuses to acknowledge it.
It is frustrating, my Cue also stopped working for no reason. Seems to be a common issue. My luck the unit still in warranty. I had the same issue with the MC 6000.

So, this is going to sound crazy but…
I was trying everything. Power Off. Power Off, Unplug…
I finally did a factory reset. I hate doing this because I have to set up my Samples again and I really think that should be much easier, as well as the Layout, mixer settings… and of course I never remember everything, so the first set after a reset can be messy.
The factory reset didn’t seem to help. I did it, didn’t help. Power Off + Unplug… didn’t help.
but I jiggled that Contour Knob on the front of the device… something I touched when I first got the device, but ignore completely as I have cross-fader disabled…
I jiggled the knob and CUE started working again.
And yeah, you may think “Oh, okay, that’s good” and I say… for how long?
Sounds like you need to send the unit in for service and testing.
Moin @meLon_Cucumis ,
I hate it as well
my workaround to fix this is as follows:
I printed out the pages from the manual (page 69 , item “Settings”).
On these pages I wrote down my settings. So I’m able to set the points as they were before I resetted the gear.
