Prime 2 Internal SSD and Flashdrives Disappear

Hello,

I bought the Prime 2 in 11/21 and sent it for support to replace the cross-fader. Then, since the updates (2024/2025) 4.0 and 4.2, the internal SSD and any flash drives stop working while I’m playing music or listening in continuous mode. All the buttons, knobs, pads freeze, the jog wheel turns off the screen, becomes unusable, forcing me to restart the unit and even after 4, 7, 10 attempts it continues to give an error. When it starts working again, it freezes in less than 10 minutes. I contacted Zentralmedia and all technical support is outside the country (Portugal), however, they do not provide support for equipment out of warranty (2 years) and the only 2 that do say that it can take on average 6 months for a report.

Any suggestions?

I’d contact Support | Engine DJ to see what’s possible for your country. Don’t think the forum can do much, other than suggesting to re-update with the same firmware via USB cable and a computer. Reset all settings in the device menu. Etc.
