I have made a playlist using Prepare folder, great, easy to search and then swipe left. Now i want to copy that playlist of 40 tracks into a permanent playlist called Dance 101 for example. I can’t do it… Aaaaagh
To make a Dance 101 playlist i need to search each song, then go into edit mode then drag it along into playlists and down to “Dance 101” then drop. how long winded is that?
It would be much better if once a Prepare list is made, that we can copy that to a permanent list.
You could (as a workaround) go to History when hooked up to a computer again, and just pick out the tracks afterwards and drag them to the new folder/ playlist (Dance 101)
Yes i thought about that, but that means i have to play every song then go back and plug into the engine mothership, then do the drag and drop. Its a workaround that will probably take longer than the “official” way of making the list. The point is: the prepare folder is a decent and quick way to make a playlist but it could be so much more by just allowing the list to be re-ordered, copy-able and possibly pre listen. then it would make for a brilliant work flow.
Make a feature request for this.
I have the same problem. I have an excellent Collection now in Prepare folder. I want to add them all to a playlist.
I thought the prepare folder was uploaded to empty at some point. Or have a manual “clear all” . I know it changes the color of played tracks, but my prepare list view is getting cluttered with stuff from a long time ago
