Playlist sort order.

Hi All,

I have the prime 4 + and am very happy with it after coming back to this game after a 20 year break :slight_smile:

I have a gripe, I can’t seem to see how to order the collections o the left - the latest playlist is always added at the bottom of the list.

How can I make the new list appear at the top of the collection list on the left?

Also, is there a way off scrolling down to the bottom without swiping all the way through it (assuming I can find a fix for the sort order).

Engine 4.3.2. I can’t see any options for sort order wither on the Mac desktop app or on the ,machine it’s self.

Hi, welcome to the forum, currently there is no way to sort playlists, you have to shuffle them around manually. I’m used to this as it’s been standard across most software for years, so I did an initial sort on first load then all I do is manually move any new ones into place as I create them.

50/50 guess, (can’t remember if I’ve done this on my mixstream) but if you hold shift while scrolling it goes quicker.

Doesn’t a scroll bar appear at the side of the screen?

Scroll does appear at the side but it’s not easy to use with fingers. This is all new to me as I came from a Denon 2500 :slight_smile:

Thanks fella’s - I have a new issue now as Soundswitch won’t connect to Engine DJ (red dot at top left).

I will start a new thread if I do need to ask here :slight_smile:

It’s best to do it on the desktop app as you can use your mouse to drag the playlists around. If you want to scroll it up the list you can grad it up so far and the playlist list will start moving in that direction.
