Playlist editing on prime 4

I have tracks on a stick plugged in to my Prime 4 and some tracks in a playlist. Can I remove tracks using just the Prime 4 or do I have to put the stick in to my laptop to edit?

Hello @scoffie Welcome to the forum.

There is no option to remove tracks from a usb drive on the prime 4 yet.

Maybe this feature request fits Your needs? https://community.enginedj.com/t/delete-tracks-from-playlists-crates/14455

Sorry @NoiseRiser, but it seems to me that the user asks how to delete a track from a playlist or crate, he does not ask to delete the file from the USB stick, if I understand correctly.

In fact he writes:

@scoffie I don’t use the console much to edit playlists or crates (until the Denon DJ team gives us the possibility to edit the TAGs too), so I’ll answer you with what I remember by heart and that I sometimes do. I remember that to delete a track from the playlist or crate you have to enter “editing mode”, then you have to drag the track to the right (or to the left I don’t remember) and at a certain point a writing with a red symbol appears that you must click to confirm the deletion.

OK, sorry, may bad… Guess my coffee didn’t worked yet

You can always put the Prime 4 in computer mode to add and or delete tracks as well.
