guys you should check the comment lol on you tube
That picture looks like something my partners year 7 kids would do on photoshop, before they had learnt how to use photoshop.
Fake as hell.
Wasn’t this debunked as an old Photoshop on Reddit?
Edit: let me reiterate. The image was debunked not the FCC filing.
We know about that, it doesn’t make the above video and pic valid in any way.
A ‘true’ XZ replacement was likely as the opus quad was quite a niche product, i can imagine the price tag would be pretty high but for anyone wanting a ‘less expensive’ option of the cdj 3000 and A9 setup will likely go for it, i can imagine that the AZ will cost over 3k the p4+ may still be a more affordable option if brand loyalty does not apply
This reddit post is interesting, seem’s at least some of his info was confirmed legit with the Headphone release yesterday
I guess the weirdness of the image could be down to someone trying to tilt the top surface towards the viewer, where the original (maybe from a video) was flatter…
Initially I was with Stu on this being a terrible photoshop but the more I see on it the more I think it could well be real. Either that or I’m just a sucker
This users comment is also quite compelling - https://www.reddit.com/r/PioneerDJ/comments/1ft4y18/comment/lptuytp/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
They just will not let the in/out loop buttons die finally
Looks like it’ll be cheap as chips lol
Chips are 4K €$£ already? Such inflation…
With a large cod, they probably are!
I was thinking straight away it’s gonna be 4 grand. People on Reddit claiming £3200, but that’s the Opus, this looks way more advanced than that.
$5700 CAD? Sound about right LOL
The in / out buttons are very useful, though.
Yeah, but still no Loop Encoders. At least they have finally added separate < > Beat Jump buttons, wohoo. Also where is the Aux-In Trim, used to be where the Mixer Settings now sit. The larger display is good, but long overdue and the GUI looks cluttered. Jogwheels have the older rim design, not the one used in the FLX6 and 10, which makes me wonder if this is a prototype, fake, or they roll the dice for each new release.
For the people interested in an A9+CDJ3000 setting, this thing will still sell very well.
I stick with my Prime 4, just wished it would receive a larger update with better faders, bigger jogs, stronger chip, club-style mixer layout, and various other details (which I will cover in a video eventually, worked on a detailed mockup idea)
I never liked the Pioneer Loop In/loop Out button system, I’m not even sure you can move a loop while with an encoder it’s a breeze! I love the encoder loop system, simple, fast and intuitive.
I worked on NI products for a long time and loop encoders are the norm there. I guess that’s why I’m so used to them.
