Hello, I have a question. Is it possible to connect the Pioneer TORAIZ SP-16 to the Denon Prime 4 and let it run synchronized? Is there a way to do this via the LAN connection. Or is there any external hardware for this? Does it work with the X1800 mixer? Should it work without a laptop or PC?
Can i make this only with the x1800 mixer or with other Hardware?
I will make MIDI connection with x1800 and pioneer sp-16. Than the SP-16 and Prime 4 with chinch on x1800. And than it works ??
RCA (Chinch) connection does not transfer any midi data. You would need to have clock (tempo timing) sent somehow from Prime 4 to the toraiz. I don’t know if there is any plan for implementing the midi out, You could try maybe a generic usb/midi maybe? But I think that would not work. Let’s wait for some more people with Prime 4 to tell us something frome their experience.
I will use the x1800 for analytic the BPM from Prime 4. The X1800 will send than Midi to Pioneer. Than the Xp-16 will sync to x1800 and than the Prime 4
Perhaps a global tempo for the prime 4 engine connect port. Feature request
I think Traktor has a feature like that
Solution idea: Global tempo with touch screen support, when engaged , it just pushes one tempo, sync will be mandatory. All decks will have to sync to global tempo just like DJing in Ableton .
Nothing synced. The Toraiz is just playing, and the gus shoots a lot of hot cues. Looking at the tempo fader - he got it in the same bpm manually. And then just triggers hot cues on beat. Nothing special, and no automatic clock sync or midi related actually.
