hi all

I need to know if I can connect my Pioneer DJ 1000 sampler to the 1850 mixer via link. Will it sync?

No. Pioneer stuff uses a different protocol to Denon, and doesn’t have Link either.

…and I need to know if Denon decides to make a standalone device like DJS1000, preferably something in between Traktor D2+f1 and djs1000. There are occasions I really miss the versatility of Traktor with it’s sample deck, and the way to control stems with the d2. Just got rid of my Akai Force for the exact reason that it needed Ableton, so in that terms it just isn’t stand alone.
