As a heads up, I have seen the midi 2.0 update breaking all sorts of things. you can disable it with the Vive tool. vivetool /disable /id:58988972 (this is the id for the midi 2.0 update.

It was once possible to do that, but apparently no more. The earlier “fixes” (inc the VDJ one) have been patched.
