Hello everyone, today suddenly the pads on the right deck stopped working, both with Serato and in Standalone Mode. The console was not wet and did not suffer any trauma. Has this happened to anyone, what can I do? Thanks
It’s an easy enough fix. There is a ribbon cable from the pad assembly that connects to the corresponding deck board, it has probably just become loose over time so just needs unclipped and reseated.
You need to remove the large screws from the bottom and torx screws on the side to remove the metal base plate. There are also torx screws on the front and back to be removed, these are the ones where you can see the tabs from the base plate going through and are easily recognisable. The cable is about an inch wide and comes through approximately where the pads are on the board. I have highlighted it below.
Be careful removing the base plate as there are a couple of connectors that have to be unclipped before taking it off fully.
