With the recent purchase of the Rane System one, I’m patiently waiting for the upcoming djay pro support in early 2026. But in the mean time, I would like to transfer over my library to Engine Dj forstand alone usage, but currently that not supported. So my question is will there be a way for us djay pro users to convert our libraries to engine dj, honestly I want to keep my beatgrid, loops and cue pts from Djay pro to show the same on Rane System one stand alone, One Library support would be the winner here.
Engine can already import Rekordbox libraries, which is basically what OneLibrary is - so export your djay Pro catalogue to OneLibrary then insert your drive/card/stick into the Rane.
wish this method would be the answer but unfortunately it doesn’t carry over the beatgrids accurately ….
I have tried a stick formatted in Rekordbox mode from VDJ and it doesn’t work properly when loaded in the System one.
Hopefully one library support is in development .. this is a no brainer, its a win win for everyone.
Not surprising I suppose, considering how accurate djay Pro is at the fluid beatgrid thing.
Nothing else currently compares, and whether a standalone system could either analyse to that accuracy or read/respond to imported fluid grids remains to be seen.
It would be nice if it could, but there’s years worth of back catalogue requests already… ![]()
Do they import to Rekordbox accurately? It’s their system after all.
I am in the exact same position. I have just ran one of my external drives through Engine and I am adjusting beat grids and adding cues during my sets.
Nice to see you in here! I wil try this and see what happens.
There are tools that can convert Djay Pro playlists to Rekordbox, and Rekordbox can then export those playlists into Engine, where they will appear on the Rane System One. However, the beat grids do not transfer accurately through this process.
As I understand it, beat grid information does not carry over when using the Rane System One in standalone mode. If you rely on the precise grids created in Djay Pro, Serato, or similar software, you won’t see those same grids reflected in Engine—which is frustrating. Engine’s beat grids are significantly less accurate and refined compared to those in Djay Pro or Rekordbox.
I am not sure of One Library supports beat grid information?
It certainly does, see video above in this thread. I guess we just have to wait and see what the next update brings, hopefully Inmusic will understand/recognize, this is a major priority for stand alone units…
