I want to believe that after AT CDJ3000X we should get abstract ā€œSC7000ā€ and repeat the history by beating Pioneer/AT once again.

Here are my expected changes (just to juice up discussion): *not expecting getting them all at once or get at all

HARDWARE

  • Type-C support
  • Preserve SD-card
  • More USB 3.0 ports (1-2 more)
  • Separate STEMS buttons (maybe?)
  • Better CPU (it lags even with SSD with 3k tracks installed for now)
  • Maybe a little bigger screen (just to tease AT)
  • NFC log-in and MAYBE OneLibrary support as well

SOFTWARE

  • Render STEMS right on board (may be possible with better CPU)
  • Edit metadata right on board
  • Multi-language keyboards (configurable)
  • Pre-installed Recorder (just like on GO+)

Talking about visual designā€¦ Maybe do them matte like X1850 or keep ā€œas itā€ now. Rubber buttons are fine, all faders, knobs are fine. Just please - donā€™t erase all the markings like CDJ 3000X did (thatā€™s a messā€¦)

Also wanna see Apple Music support and Spotify eventually getting at all new hardware and GO+

Canā€™t guess about pricing, but I wanna believe InMusic wonā€™t be greedy like Pioneer/AT and this upgrade will cost fair enough to get same groundbreaking device and wonā€™t go broke while getting it.

Iā€™m not sure if the mixer can feed back the master-output signal back to a single player for recording - my guess would be that this should be a feature for an upcoming mixer (or maybe even a firmware update for the x1850). It would be great to have though :blush:

I def want the next gear to have an AI button that selects the music for me, and then at a press of the play button, DJ for me so I can twiddle knobs and stuff, and do the Jesus pose.

This is absolutely not true. Having been kind of a hater myself in the past. I realized after playing on pioneer decks that the denons are better

Probably a matter of taste. I prefer the jogs of the SC6000ā€™s over the CDJ3000ā€˜s by far.

Yeah, cdj3000 jogs feels like toys. Have them for rental, they are plastic toys compared to denon aluminum jogs.

This not talked about enoughā€¦ Seriously Iā€™m dreaming with the opportunity to put 3 SC6000s on my rider. I donā€™t want anything else player-wise. We need to show quality to the rest of the dj community

I have Denon decks on my rider since 2017. Iā€™m always happy to arrive at the clubs with SC players :slight_smile:

Very curious about this as well. Loving my Prime4+ but have been eyeballing the SC6000(M)ā€™s for a while.

I would wait until Denon does their next wave of releases. The SC6000 decks are difficult to find new these days and the entire platform (based on 2014 SoC tech) is very out dated.
