Well, if they manage to achieve the same quality as VDJ (not with Engine’s current rendering quality) and with an acceptable processing time, obviously (not if it takes 2 minutes 30 seconds to render a 3-minute track), then yes, I’ll do it and applaud the technical achievement. I’m someone who knows when I’m wrong. But if both the rendering quality and/or the rendering time aren’t up to par, then no, I won’t do it. Because I want something clean and fast, not some kind of middle-ground compromise.
But so far, everything I predicted has come true—at the risk of being a killjoy and a dream-crusher for some.
