Sc live 2 no longer available. Denon SC LIVE 2 2-Channel Standalone DJ Controller With 7'' Screen | Long & McQuade

Notice that there’s no option to order from a distributor. That means the product is gone with the wind.

It’s the same with the sc 6000 series too.

There’s a good amount of the lc6000 in stock though.

One ā€˜new’ x1850 left in stock and when that gets sold the ā€˜no longer available’ will appear with no option to order from a distributor.

I used to work for Long and Mcquade and I buy all my dj gear from there. I do know the ropes of what’s in and what’s out.

The Sc live 2 is not out of stock, it is ā€˜no longer available’.

The Prime 4+ white is out of stock but there’s and option to order online after contacting the supplier.

The SC6000M is becoming increasingly difficult to find in France, there are only a few online retailers who still seem to have some stock.

A DJ friend of mine had to return one of his SC6000Ms for repair at Thomann due to the famous ā€œupdating motor to 04.04ā€ error. Thomann was unable to provide him with a replacement unit and fully refunded him.

He had to manage to buy a new unit elsewhere.

The predictions were speculation and guess work like I religiously do every year this time of the year.

It was logical to think that Denon would release a + version of the 6000 series based on what happened to the other models that took the + leap.

As for Reloop I do think they’ll eventually release new turntables and a new mixer. Well they did actually release a new mixer but not the one I’m hoping for though.

thisisian,

I just wanted to comment on your ā€œhoping for better build qualityā€ā€¦

IMO…. Honestly, every product will have some QC issues that’s just the way it is with electronics.

With that said…. I suggest you head over to the Official Pioneer DJ XDJ-AZ Facebook page!!

Whoa!!! Those AZ’s are still having issues… They’re arriving damaged with the LCD screen popped off of its central housing (I’ve seen this now 3x being posted) and a host of other electronic issues… Just scroll down and read through the postings…

Not to mention the freezing fiasco of the initial release…

I’d have to say the new AlphaTheta name is not looking so good in terms of build quality! Especially, when being compared to any product by Denon DJ…. Just saying… :peace_symbol:

All of that manufacturing run have already been recalled and replaced, but you are correct. There will be build quality issues across all brands.

Well looks like the ā€œOneā€ thing I never even had a thought about or considered will be the next thing I’ll be getting.

The Rane One mk2 was a pleasant surprise. I was happy with my Rane one to the point where I was settled with it and thought it was all I needed. I hope hope the mk2 reaches Canada soon.

This is just me spitballing but I’m sensing two things: 1) The M model was getting eaten for lunch in sales by the Rane One and 2) The standard jog model still moves decent numbers in sales to bedroom EDM jockeys seeking an alternative to the Pioneer/AT oligopoly.

@Tim_Brooks could be possible.

I“m very happy havin“ both: motorized platters on the SC6000M“s and normal platters on the LC6000“s  personally I prefer the motorized ones

Namm wasn’t that exciting this time around at least for me. Although I did like some of the new synths presented. The Behringer Bx1 prototype looks very interesting. What stole my heart though was the Rane One mk2. I hope it will not have the iOS cripple hammer that the Rane performer has since it will have the same dacs. That will break my heart since I mostly only use my Rane one with my iPhone.

What did you guys think of namm this year?
