i hope Denon or Rane or maybe both will come with stand alone mixers that have engine dj build in.
That would be a smart move where stand lone units can become maybe cheaper.
And if they really want to slowly dominate the future also allow other stand alone units like pioneer cdj’s be used as a controller
for the engine dj mixer. Maybe Rane more battle style engine mixers and Denon club style mixers. If that happens it would be great.
If they let the older DENON units like sc5000 and sc6000, lc6000 work with these mixers. I would buy one right away.
And Rane could make an affordable standalone spinning platter version. Or even better let the Rane 12 mk2 work with the engine dj mixer.
It would allow you to be able to have the benefits of the new chips that are build into these mixers and still be able to use the older gear.
