My Denon SC Live 4 lights and buttons don’t respond after 4.2.0 update. HELP

I’ve been the last two days struggling after I updated to the last version of Engine and the all the buttons of the deck and mixer stopped responding and also the lights :// I’ve tried so many solutions but this doesn’t seem to have happened to anybody I was playing a set, all normal, then noticed the missing update, and clicked start, after it was done it rebooted like usual, but this time with all the lights and buttons not responding. If anyone knows anything I’ve tried a million things, I would highly appreciate it, thank you!!

Failed Engine update on the hardware? Happened to many, the only difference is how it shows on each unit: sometimes the screen does not respond, sometimes some weird audio glitches - your unit just doesn’t boot up.

I suggest you list the solutions you already tried so we don’t repeat them for nothing.

Try and reload the firmware via USB cable by downloading to a computer first.

You may struggle to get the unit into firmware update mode if your buttons didn’t work but you may find it works if you try.

I’m not sure on the button combination. Hopefully someone can find it on here. It’s usually holding power on and holding something like eject or the two load buttons.

Thank you for you anawer bro! Tried this by getting it into update mode on the settings tap, it made the updated according to the update manager on my computer but everything still the same :/, I even tried the same thing with an older update and it did the update, but the problem still persist :(((

This does look like it could have affected hardware then.

I’d give your local inMusic service centre a call and see what they suggest if it’s out of warranty. If it’s still in warranty then raise a support ticket and let them get back to you. So sorry you’ve had this happen but they maybe able to help.

As i replied in other comment I tried this getting it into update mode on the settings tap, and remade the updated on the update manager on my computer but everything still the same, I even tried the same thing with an older update and it made the update, but still the same. Ive factory reseted various times Tried the buttoms combination but I dont think it works because buttoms dont respond. Please let me knw anything you have in mind and Ill let you know if I tried it, thank you!

I’m not going to lie, it’s probably something the team will look at. You may have to ship it back to the country of origin if you can’t find a service centre near you.

Hopefully someone will help if you open a ticket. They can advise the next steps.
