Motorized version of Prime 4+

Hello,

Just joined this community, because I am a current Numark NS7iii owner, with the triple screen display, but have been looking to move over to the Denon DJ world. While the SC6000M motorized units are awesome, I prefer the all-in-one approach of the NS7iii and the Prime 4/4+.

However, I really prefer motorized platters. I am wondering if you guys think whether Denon will eventually go the same route of the SC series with the Prime series, and offer a motorized M version.

It is the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on a new controller, and I love everything the Prime 4+ has to offer, just missing the motorized platters.

As a bonus, would prefer if the jog wheels were at least 7" (like the NS7 series) and ideally 8" like the Denon SC series, however I realize that putting larger jog wheels on an all-in-one setup could make for a very large unit, but I think it would be awesome.

I already submitted this as a request, did a quick search and could not find a similar request, which surprises me.

Hi, the request has been banded around before, but many feel it will make the already heavy Prime 4 a ridiculous size and weight and not practical for anything but fixed use in a single place.

Yeah i agree, definitely seen that one before, not sure it was a feature request though so will likely be difficult to find, especially if no tags were applied.

Using Google advanced search there are a few threads mentioning this but I can’t find an actual feature request.
