Mixstream pro to adastra amp

Hi guys. I use the numark mixstream pro. I have been asked to dj in a bar ans they have an adastra a4. Would i just plug into the line outs to connect my mixstream to it? Total newb so sorry if this is too basic.

Plug the RCA outputs of the Mixstream into the RCA inputs of the Adastra.

Could i use these?

It looks like the Adastra has TRS (jack plug) line in, so you can get XLR to TRS cables and plug in using a balanced connection.

The user manual makes no mention of balanced inputs.

It looks like the Adastra is mostly used in fixed installations. Most venue owners dont appreciate if you unscrew their equipment. So my guess is they wil ask you to use the aux input on the front. You need a RCA to aux cable for that (example: https://www.djkit.com/neo-cables/neo-oyaide-d-myr-15-cable.html ). Alternatively you could ask the venue to provide a RCA (or XLR) connection for you or ask permission to unscrew the Adastra.

That’s great. Thanks for getting back to me. Very much appreciated

We don’t know the details Ben-E

It could be that the Adastra is behind the bar somewhere and the venue have a cable in place that runs to the DJ area.

I wouldn’t imagine they’d expect a DJ to plug in to a mini jack…
