Hey, I noticed the right channel on my Mixstream has a lot less power then the left one. Everything is zeroed (Channel Level, EQ, Filters, FX, same tracks). I thought first the crossfader probably has issues, but even if i turn it off … same thing. I can crank up the right Channel Level, but it seems odd. Am i missing something here? Thanks
How are you listening to this? through speakers or in headphones?
Line out and builtin speakers … have not tried headphones. I can see the difference on the VU meter. I did try a factory reset, but didn’t help. I need to turn right gain around 60° further to have them balanced.
It sounds like some kind of hardware issue, if you bought it new from an official dealer you should be able to return it.
Does it do this with all tracks or just this specific one? is it definitely the same file its reading, i have quite a few duplicates in my library and sometimes they are different file types, lossless vs lossy etc.
I tried with a few different tracks, identical files loaded left and right.

If that is the case then sounds like an issue with either hardware or firmware.
Is it a new issue, have you recently updated the firmware? have you been using the device previously with it working correctly or is this straight out of the box?
I own it for a year already. Guess i should have noticed it before. But honestly I’m not 100% sure. Could also have started with one of the recent updates.
Id try to roll back to an earlier firmware and see if it resolves, then you have a firmware issue you can report directly to inmusic.
I know they recently updated the device for Serato support, have you installed that? it could be that causing the issue.

If you scroll down the following page you can download all the older firmware versions then add them to a USB stick and re-install it from there. Instructions provided in the release notes.

Edit: you need to select ‘Engine OS’ on the list of options.
