I’ve searched, I tried… but still I can’t seem to batch add a Genre tag to tracks… I can add individual… but there be madness… I’ve tried selecting a batch… but… no luck… do I have to revert to an mp3 tagger? seems rather clanky for 2024?

Hi, yes an MP3 tagger is your best option there.

I’ve heard Picard being mentioned before, but I’ve not got round to trying it out yet.
MP3Tag. Then once the tags are updated, select all of the modified tracks in Engine, Right Click, and Re-Import Information.

can’t believe you can’t edit in EngineDJ… im sure I could do this in Traktor decades ago… hey ho… problem solved…
