is there any special way to connect the Prime 4 G2 to show as a MIDI device, Mine does not connect and when I’m in computer mode it does not connect! frustarting
Prime 4 G2 is not your typical midi device and will not show up like one on windows without any drivers. Omnisource is in the making, so you have to wait a bit.
On mac I was successful to use it in midi mode when one of the channels source was set to computer (in mixer menu).
Then only that channel and deck controls send midi.
Hope you don’t mean connecting to Engine DJ on your laptop - because you cannot do that
I mean connecting to Serato, I have no issue connecting with my Prime 4plus. Only my on my Prime 4 G2 and My Prime go Plus
Because both are not supported controllers for Serato.
Gen2 support will be in the shape of Omnisource later in the year and Go Plus probably never.
I have gone all thru the MIDI app and was not able to resolve the isse, I had a feeling that it was not supported as of the release date of the G2. Thanks for your input and confirmation
