Memory Cues are a MUST!

Continuing the discussion from Multiple Memory Cue problem:

Memory cues are a must for me & Denon need to address this. I have numerous visual memory cues set in my Rekordbox software which help me plan for various mixes. My musical tastes are quite eclectic & not always based around 120+ BPM.

This was discussed just yesterday, here is a link.

It’s certainly not a must, and you don’t tell people what they need to do just for you.

@Chris_Bernard

Genuinely curious what genres these memory cue users are playing. I’m guessing open format? I can’t help but think the time honored tradition of learning your tracks is a better option than complaining about memory cues but maybe that’s because I’ve been DJing for 25 years and learned on vinyl. I can see everything I need now in the waveforms anyway, and I can’t fathom needing to tag a track with more than 8 cues either, hot or otherwise. Weird issue to switch back to inferior hardware for.

I’m not telling you or anyone what they need to do, just expression an opinion. Do whatever you do.
