Not had a proper mix but plugged in and juggled a few tracks with no issue, switched between thru and relative mode and did some FX.
Engine desktop seems fine too.

Compelled to state the obvious here:
Denon DJ has been actively testing all applicable hardware and software products with each beta release of macOS 14 Sonoma. We understand how important it is for all our users to know exactly what works before they make the jump on any new updates. Please refer to this article for all Denon DJ hardware and software compatibility with macOS 14 Sonoma.
For this reason, we encourage all our dedicated Denon DJ product owners to refrain from updating to macOS 14 Sonoma until compatibility with the new operating system can be confirmed.
Thanks Rob, that’s good clear info
The machine on my DJ booth auto-updated to Sonoma . I saw no issues with Engine DJ at all, though I just use it to shuttle data via USB to my SC6000Ms.
I’m going to refrain upgrading my daily driver until we get official word from Denon though.
Thanks for the update!
I’m running Sonoma (14.0) with Denon DJ Prime Go (3.2.0) Running Denon DJ Prime Go with engine dj 3.2.0 works good
What now doesn’t work (no idea if its sonoma or prime go or vdj) Virtual DJ no longer can connect to Virtual DJ running on Macbook Pro running Sonoma. I know Virtual DJ also did an update and I’m running v2023-m b7692
Hoping this gets fixed because it was my primary setup… had to roll back to using my pioneer ddj-400 with Virtual DJ since I can’t use it with Denon Prime Go at the moment but I’m sure its temporary.
In Fairness to all the companies in question, they’ve all asked people not to update their Mac OS until further notice, primarily for the exact reason you described.
this is 100% the reason.
Im guessing the VDJ forum might also be a good place to report it.
We are working on this, but do not recommend updating yet. Denon DJ has been actively testing all applicable hardware and software products with each beta release of macOS 14 Sonoma.
Yea, I’m seeing that everywhere now (after I upgraded). Must be a significant upgrade to have such warnings.
I don’t imagine it will take a long time to get software updated to support the new OS. It’s not like apple is going backwards so software will have to update to keep there customers happy.
Good point on making a comment on the VDJ forum. I’ll get that going.
NOTE: I wasn’t complaining just letting others know my experience to help them not follow the same path and if they did they now know they aren’t the only one having issues.
Im on Sonoma myself but in my case I only use Serato at home and im not planning on adding any new music to my Prime 2 for the time being so again it doesnt matter if Engine doesn’t sync. If either of those 2 situations had been different I would be on the old OS.
