I have a Denon Prime 4 and a Windows 10 PC. The Engine library and all my associated .mp3 music are located on the D: hard drive. Recently, I had a login issue with Windows, and I no longer had access to the D: hard drive and therefore to my Engine library. When I launched Engine, nothing appeared in the library; it was completely empty, no more track and cue point. So, I closed the Engine software, but I forgot that the automatic backup option was checked, so it backed me up like that. Now that I got back the access to my D: hard drive and I still don’t have a library displayed in the software.
I still have my library with my cue points and other on my Denon Prime 4’s SSD and when I connect it to my PC, my entire Denon Prime 4 library appears in the PC’s Software Engine. However, once I disconnect the Prime 4, there are no more libraries in my Software Engine. With this, the option to transfer from my Prime 4 SSD to my PC is not possible by the sync manager.
How can I get back my library from the Software Engine without the Denon Prime 4 connected, knowing that even with the backup the library still empty..?
hey, the problem is not that, you didn’t read well, I only have acces to the collection when I connect my denon prime 4 to my computer now, when I disconnect, the collection is gone. And sadly engine can’t synch from the prime 4 to the computer, so I’m stuck and spend hours and hours since one week to find a way.
I put the engine library (without the MUSIC folder) from my denon prime 4 to my computer Engine library folder and now my collection appears but in red, I have to find a way to change the path in finding correpondance in my computer for all my 5000 tracks with chat gpt and powershell but that takes hours too and no result.
