Hey soundswitch user! Do you have the same problems with iLok not finding your license so you can’t run the software. Same thing over and over again. Working fine on my prime4+ but as soon I need to connect the usb dongle to my pc it’s not working… support ticket and suddenly it works again.
Yes it’s a nightmare. Support are exasperated with it so apparently it’s getting replaced and done away with in version 3.
Just a legacy thing that was there before the software was bought by In-Music.
It’s not something wierd is it? Like, it’ll work on the PC, so long as it’s the same USB port that you use on the PC, every song time
No, it’s a problem with authentication at their end.
It’s clearly the authentication! No work will be done in soundswitch this weekend… let’s hope it will be fixed to next… frustrating! Super good software, please get an authentication method for the audience you’re targeting.
I had to contact support then buy a new 30 day licence which they in turn refunded.
A lot of messing around for something that should just work.

These iLok Issues are frustrating indeed, and we are now just weeks away from a SoundSwitch release where we will no longer be using iLok and will now be using our own internal system.
If you do continue to have issues, this is on the iLok side, and we do have workarounds but as you have found, it does require getting in touch with us so we can help with that.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are having issues, and the solution to it all is due to be released very soon.

@Liam I’m done with Soundswitch and pretty much Denon too. SS never works when you try to open it and yet again I’m locked out because of that stupid ilok software from the 90s. Messaged on FB where they have solved issues in the past and was told to email. Have done that and no response whatsoever so I’m stuck for adding fixtures for this weekend.
On top of that the Prime Go+ is beginning to be unreliable, installed 4.3 and had glitching in my music all night which is pretty bad in a busy bar. Don’t have time to mess about with different firmware versions and if testing was done properly I wouldn’t need to.
Think it’s back to ShowXpress and VDJ for me full time and these unprofessional toys can find a home on eBay.

The Prime Go issues that you are seeing please get in touch with the Denon support team I know they have been working on a number of fixes in this area and can also help you with these.
Well that’s kinda the point of my post. They haven’t responded to my emails and my subscription has now run out. That’s twice now I’ve paid and haven’t been able to connect due to that ilok rubbish.

I ditched soundswitch cause of iLok issues. Seems a non iLok version will come out soon, that would be awesome.
Well they eventually (because my emails were blocked for some reason) sent me a pre-release version which works well without i-lok, but by that time my subscription had ran out and I couldn’t use it when it was active. I had to complete the project in ShowXpress and take my full rig instead of just the Prime Go+ which just defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.
