How to transfer cue points from other programs

I’ve tried to transfer my tracks from any number of other music software: rekordbox (I copied the XML file), serato and mixed in key. When I import my libraries, it will bring over crates/playlists, and track information, but it will never bring over hot cues and loops. For the case of mixed in key, I’ve dragged and dropped tracks that MIK has analyzed, and none of the cues or even the updated comments with key/energy have transferred. I’ve watched countless videos from official denon/engine youtube and also amateur videos, but nothing i’ve done will allow the cue points to come over.

Software version: 4.2.1

Settings of note:

  • auto analysis: On
  • integration: selecting one library at a time to try and integrate from, but haven’t had success.
  • Key notation: Camelot

I’ve also asked on the reddit thread, to which everyone replied “just get lexicon”, which, is fine, but it seems silly to pay for something that should come integrated?

I purchased a prime 4, running the latest software, if that matters.

You should try and import all that data INTO Serato, Traktor, VDJ or Rekordbox, and see how well integrated it is.

i have a problen to serato and MixInKey wen i export to serato the cue points and inport it from serato the cue points are not correct why is that?

Hi I have import of cue point straight for Mixed in key working. I hadn’t yet had time to make available for all. Hopefully i can share it soon.
