How to Prevent Engine DJ Auto-Updates?

Running last 4.x version on desktop and SC Live 4 controller. Been reading about issues with 5.0/5.0.1

How can I prevent automatic update? If Ive been manually updating desktop sw, will that keep everything on 4.x until a later stable update?

I the current 5.0.01 behaving better?

Personally Im very happy with the 5.0 software. The windows software has become way more snappy.

But if your not ready to take the step that’s absolutely OK. I’d give you the same advice as we give our sons or daughters: If you don’t want it just say no, just don’t do it. That’s totally fine.

When the update option pops up, choose ignore. The update won’t be offered again until the next update. You can still update later if you want. The same goes for the controllers.

Literally select ignore. That’s it. Press ignore. The option is right in front of you.

Neither Engine DJ or Engine OS offers automatic updates, so you don’t have to worry about that :blush:
