Hey my sc 6000 is doing some very, very strange things and I can’t get any help on heee

Hey I’m playing a song I start stopping and starting the track and some scratching in for some effect and then the sc6000m loads a track I played 5minutes ago without me doing anything at all except trying to DJ which is really not working out, I’m going to make some YouTube videos and sell this thing and buy some pioneers which is what i should have done in the first place.

Oh wow I actually posted something after the third try, anyway I’m also freezing a lot on th sc6000m. Also when I got from layer A to B or B to A the track will legit stop playing, it seems to always happen to the out going track but even still what if I was playing live a it kept turning off on me, this is disgusting, I guess my real question is, is pioneer as reliable as all the YouTubers say ?

Seriously, an average rant here makes more sense. We love to help but nobody is gonna even try if you continue posting like this.

YouTubers are the arbiters of absolute truth, so yeah go for it. Enjoy those “trouble-free” Pioneer products.

Yeah was a little drunk. Definitely does not make a lot of sense, I agree.

Yeah I wasn’t born yesterday, in fact I’m in my 50 s, so I definitely am aware of falseness on YouTube. Thanks for filling me in anyway.

I could not help myself! Hoping you don’t have a hangover today :heart:

This topic is getting weirder by the minute…

Anyways, I presume you, @James_Hardin, have one unit in possession, so no cross reference to another unit?

Which firmware version is used? What filetype caused the freeze (mp3, flac, wav)? A video would help to understand the issues. “Very strange things” wouldn’t help a car mechanic either.

Otherwise I would contact the retailer to exchange the unit (if possible) or create a ticket at Support | Engine DJ. This seems like faulty hardware.

Yes I have a single unit, os is 4.0.0. File type m4a which I just noticed. And yeah video would definitely help me as well unfortunately I did not record. The was experiencing some lagging issues last night the freeze occurred two days ago. I unplugged my focusrite from my mixer because the problems I have been having, which are random and not frequent at all, started when I hooked up the focusrite. I played for 2 hrs this morning and had no problem, so i will keep you updated. On a side note, im trying to understand all the tech that goes into something like this, it’s not very easy for me so thank you for the questions it does help me.

Check to see if continuous play is on. Slide the options bar down from the top. Should be in the quick settings menu.

Otherwise, it might be the .m4a files. Find a free converter online or use itunes to covert to .mp3.

Ok thanks for the info
