I recently bought a second-hand Denon DN-S1200. It already had the ‘System Error Ejected’ message, but I was still able to access some menus. However, after updating to the latest v3030 firmware, the unit became completely locked. The ‘Source’ button no longer responds and I can’t switch to USB or MIDI mode.
I’ve already tried:

Full hardware resets (Source+Parameter+Cue).

Service Mode initializations (S1200 init).

Cleaning and reseating all internal ribbon cables.

Disconnecting the CD drive entirely.
*The error persists and I suspect the new firmware is more restrictive regarding hardware checks. I want to try a downgrade to v3000, v3020, or even v2000 to see if it unlocks the Source button. *
Does anyone have the s1200fw.bin file for any of these older versions? Also, has anyone faced this specific ‘lock’ after an update and found a workaround?
