For a company that almost folded four year ago, they have done a fantastic job, what is the worth of any company these days, Soundcloud is my view is a fantastic hunting ground for old edits and new hidden talent. As for the asking price, unless your a billionaire who just loves music and sees the advantage of an already set up company, then it’s change for those who pay such amounts. Still a nice story to share, you never know what will happen next? A billionaire bought a company where people go and talk ■■■■■■■■ to each other about stuff you would talk about down the pub.
