What do you mean that the beatgrid starts sliding after a while? Is it similar as in this post: Denon DJ [Official] | Engine OS 4.3.1 visual bug: one deck's waveform appears to drift/bleed visually even if BPM of both tracks is set perfectly and audio is perfectly syn... | Facebook ?
Yea is exactly that ! At first was my eyes feeling tired. But happens after playing like 5hrs or so
Weird
Okay, because I was thinking that you might also be referring to an issue when two tracks are synced, but because one track has 123.00 BPM, but the other for example 123.01 BPM, then after some time they will start sliding slightly, but seems you have the same issue that I had.
Well, the only workaround for this issue is downgrading to 4.2.0 for now.
Lets hope they reading this forums and get it patch in next version
Yes, let’s hope so! I’ve posted a detailed bug report as well for this issue: Engine OS 4.3.1 - visual drifting of beatgrid
I believe it’s been reported and is being looked at by the InMusic team (as per previous posts on the forum)
Anyone got a solution for this ? @DenonDJ_Support_DE
By bumping the thread this way (ie you gave no new info about the noticed bug or workaround) you are accomplishing nothing but annoying other users that have to read this.
All the relevant info is already posted here and in the main thread, inMusic support does not respond to each one that mentions it nor will they supply you with some beta firmware to fix it before others.
Hey, to anyone on this thread, I recommend getting in touch with Engine support Support | Engine DJ as they may be able to get you access to a special build to test this fix.
I got in touch with the team but, the build they give me to test… basically is not fixing it, if something I feel now is worst. Before was happening every 1 hr or every 3 hr. Now start happening after 20 minutes.
But I find a temporary solution. At least on SC4, keep on pressing the beat jump buttons and the gird will get back to position.
I really hopes get fixed
Hey @camilo_franco since you are able to reproduce the issue very easily, could you please share with me the steps you took?
Do you recall if this happens after loading a track? Does this happen when moving the pitch slider? Do you use loops or sync at all when it happens? Did you zoom the waveform at any time? Which device are you using? Are all your files the same format, e.g. mp3?
A video showing what happens before the issue appears will be very helpful and I would be very grateful for your time.
Hey Mike, is tricky to make a video of when happens, since there is no a trigger, I don’t know why it just happens suddenly, in any cases not using sync, you load the track and when you play it .. I notice something is off … then I know what’s going on.
I have made videos but is after is already happening.
I guess the positive is knowing how to get the grid back to his normal behavior which is by clicking the beat jump buttons on the current deck.( SC live 4, all my music is mp3 320, latest firmware 4.3.2)
Hey @camilo_franco yes, fair answer. Especially if you don’t know when the issue is going to happen, you would need to be recording your whole set.
Just to clarify, you are saying you don’t use sync at all? I’m keen to know if this affects users that don’t use sync as well.
