Govee light integration

With Nanoleaf being add in the last update, I would love to see Soundswitch adding Govee to it, they have amazing lights, they are affordable and work over wifi just like Nanoleaf and HUE. Please consider adding that I am sure lots of prime owners have Govee lights !

I definitely agree. I have Govee light bars that would be great to use directly from my Mixstream Pro. Currently I use them via Razer Chroma on PC but it’s a lot of extra connections that could be eliminated by compatibility with Engine Lighting. Fingers crossed for a future update.

Hey Guys, Any updates on this ? All my lights are Govee . Can we sync them on beat and control with Mixstream?

Appreciate your help

Bumping this. I have many Govee lights and it would be amazing to add to Soundswitch.

It’s usually the case that such lights either need a lot of intelligence within the lights themselves (which makes the lights themselves expensive) or a lot of the processing has to be done by a controller, like a prime, which makes the lights themselves cheaper.

Govee are relatively cheaper lights than Philips Hue, or nano - so maybe that’s what defines whose lights can and can’t be supported -maybe ?

My understanding of Govee lights, they connect directly to the wifi and only on 2.4gz bandwidth.

Phillips Hue work because of the Hue bridge and its capacity to control scenes etc in sync with all the lights. It’s the hue bridge that connects to the prime unit and not the bulbs themselves, that then sends messages to the bulbs if I have it correct.
