Hi there (again) , so am I missing something on the settings here, is there an option to clear (turn off) effects on new track load?
I can’t seem to find it if there is.
Thank you.

There isn’t, but they did introduce a fast flashing sequence on the FX on light to make it more visible that an effect is active, depending on your device of course.
Ah that would be why I can’t see it then lol
Thank you.
Perhaps I will put in a feature request.
I mean it’s a great unit but a few little bits could do with a tweak lol
You haven’t said which unit you’re talking about?
There is a ‘reset FX to default on track load’ setting but im not sure that would turn it off.
As a 26yr and counting DJ who’s largely used Pioneer DJM mixers and various controllers, id say getting into a habit of remembering to turn effects off when you load a new track is the way to go, especially if you aspire to moving up to using any kind of install gear at a venue.
Sorry it’s the prime 4 plus.
It’s my first standalone unit, coming from a mcx7000.
Virtual DJ with the 7000 does so much more I guess I’m getting lazy, after all my first proper cd decks were pioneer cdj500 MK2 limited then a Gemini ps676, everything was manual lol.
I’m just an open format DJ now doing parties, weddings, private events. For the small amount of actual mixing I do the prime 4 seems to be giving me a bit more to do.
Stuff like, no auto gain, effects staying on, volume difference when using effects.
I’m guessing the laptop/controller might be more what’s suited to my DJing style.
I do love the prime though.
