Format and Adding Music Before Installation of SSD to Prime 2

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has formatted their SSD hard drive before inserting it into the prime 2s?

Was also wondering if it is possible to add the music before installation?

Yes and Yes. Internal SSD is treated like external one so You can do anything with it before installing onto Prime 2.

Plug drive into an external caddy fornat to fat 32. Copy music to it. Go into engine analyze it. Set grids etc. Then remove from caddy and install

Grids are beat grids. The lines that you will see. They should line up with the beat, this enables easier mixing and the sync button to work properly if needed…
