I use and love Denon players because they are the far better alternative in the market for the price. If a new player releases with the same price boost prime 4 got, opting for Denon makes no sense anymore. Give us a stripped down version with focus on quality of life improvements and reliability, not pads full of colours or jog wheel info for people that like mixing with their eyes

If DJ gear companies thought like this, then there would be little progress beyond basic turntables and mixers, which we are light years beyond at this point.
The MPC pads are more than buttons – they are X/Y parameter generators via touch.
That’s what you get with the G2. Paddles instead of flimsy buttons, much better faders, improved play/cue buttons, larger jogs and more space around the pitch fader, improved details like ESS DACs and IEC locking socket… and nobody forces you to use the MPCe pads in their multi-zone modes. Sorry, but your posts just reads like a mindless rant.
And if you’re talking ‘your own opinion’ don’t mix that with statements like ‘Most people do not want…’ if you have zero proof for that.

But in all seriousness, the pads are massively useful. I have MPC Live 3 with the same pads, and XY fx on these are awesome. Now on the Prime 4G2 I just can’t stop using them. The creative mixing techniques you can pull off with these are just awesome 
Yes you get all that indeed but you also get a lot more stuff that hikes up the price tag.
I am not their fan. I’m a Denon fan who doesn’t like the direction they’re taking. Solely focusing on the open format and wedding DJ
plus denon always innovate to do something new ,different from other company i really appreciate it so much
unless they do 2 version, a simple controller with a advance controller for those who want more, like me 
I agree. Yours and Mojaxx are the best G2 videos I’ve seen so far.
The price of admission for the G2 is 1000% worth it vs the competition, plus, when you add in all the new features, continued software support and access to this great forum of knowledgeable members. There’s just no comparison. 
The G2 is a game changer in many ways.. 
The device looks complex in all reviews, but it’s really not. Go and try it first at your local retailer, would my advice be atm. You’ll notice that you’ll settle in to your own workflow. Others might use it differently.
They will buy the overpriced AT devices as it suits them. “Less is more”.
Even though I know many of you here hate me! I wanted to let you know that today I traded in one of my prime 4 plus, the black one to be exact, since no one has yet purchased my two prime 4 plus on sale, they bought the new g2! I decided to give Denon DJ one last chance, and if I still have problems with this brand it will be the last product, even though I’ve been using the AZ lately, we’ll see!

People forget… When the AZ first launched…… There were a few valid reports of the screen falling out during shipping… 
To make matters worst.. The first run of the AZ also had major freeze-up issues after being used for a while. They did sort it out.
Anything electronic, from any manufacturer can unfortunately have issues.. From TV’s to PC’s and anything in between.
Denon, despite having a “few” 
software issues that had to be ironed out on this past major update still has a great (above average) overall track record. Plus, any issues that arise take priority and a fix is put out as quick as possible.
My White Prime 4+ has been nothing by but flawless.
