Is the only way to update firmware by laptop and blue cable?

Welcome to the community.

You can also download it to a USB or SD card, but easiest of all is to connect your device to wifi and download it that way.

Are you sure because when u download it it unzips a program which u open on a laptop then it says u use the blue cable to connect

If you go to the settings on your player, there’s a tab called “Update” (shows if you’re already on the most current version) :blush: if it’s connected to the internet, that is.

100% sure, I’ve done it many times myself:)

You just need to download the right version of the firmware from the download site, but honestly save yourself the hassle and follow Kris’ advice above.

It downloaded drivers screen and enginedj to 3.3.0 so I think I must be on the latest then

3.3 is the latest indeed, so as long as the unit is connected to the internet, it’ll show you a pop up screen once a new version is available :blush:

No stem options because the settings are in mixer setting and there is nothing there.

The Stems beta needs to be downloaded from the forum page related to it, you can only download live versions on the player itself.

Hello, soon I will have prime4+, when will it be officially available (not beta) on Steam? On the other hand, do you analyze the songs quickly? Is the hardware the same as prime4 in prime4+?

Hardware seems a little bit different due to the fact that only the plus has stems. but who really knows.

Look in the stems beta forum to see the progression of the feature or load the beta yourself and try it. As it seems they have to do still some work to make it really ready.

A phrase many said before “buy the product based on what it can do now, not what it could do in the future” The prime 4+ is a super piece of hardware and nothing out there that really can compete. Other brands let you pay more for less, just don’t rip those fader apart with super heavy force and blame it on the build quality (just joking :smiley: but it’s a real thing here)
