Hello have you succeed ? I dont know if dfu is enough. What chip have you bought ? under which package ? is it a dev board or only the chip ? How did you know that yout current chip is dead ? Have you some pics ? ( sorry its a lot of question

When you look on ST site they use sometimes CubeIDE or ST link utility to program their chips.
