Prime 4+
Using the mixer FX filter: turning anti-clockwise (low pass filter) the FX sounds great. Turning clockwise (hi pass) has an issue where between 12 and 1 a ton of extra bass is added before the high pass filter actually kicks in.

Hi
I think this is relatively normal behaviour for high pass filters, try turning the resonance down in the settings to reduce the impact.
Hello.
I also have the same issue with my Prime 4+, more specifically with noise and filter fx.
@STU-C, no. The filter resonance doesn’t do anything.
The workaround I found for this, is to turn the sweep fx knobs with each fx on one by one before loading a song to any deck, just before starting to mix. I whoop sound can be heard when noise is on and after doing this the problem does not occur again during the session. If this is not done before a track is loaded, the whoop sound will happen again with every loaded song, at least once.
Definitely an annoying bug that should be addressed ASAP.
Every high pass filter I’ve ever used (apart from the one on a Mastersounds Radius 4 but that’s different to what we’re discussing here) does that same thing where bass increases for the initial portion of the filter, this is on Pioneer, A&H, Denon, Serato and even Mastersounds own FX unit. It’s definitely a normal behaviour for a HPF with any kind of resonance.
Unless I misunderstood what @Jangla refers in regard to the filter sound, I recorded a small video showing the glitch in filter noise sound I was talking about.
I think is related to the topic. If not, the admins can proceed to delete this comment.
