I am new to the Denon Universe and I am really amazed about the broad variaty of functions in my Denon SC Live 4. I have been playing around a while with this controller and love how it feels and acts while playing.
As a software developer i also love to see how well the engine dj app behaves on my controller. Really stable work. In this manner i would like to throw in some more functions I would really love to see on my controller and in the Engine DJ Software.

Reanalyse track button, due to some bpm and beatgrid mismatches.
Edit Metadata of track on controller (like star rating, genre, track title, artist, (ID3 and Engine DB))

“Import folders and subfolders into collection” button in the context menu

Hi, you can edit BPM and beat grids on your device now, it’ll be in the instruction manual for that particular device but I think it’s activated by holding the shift key.
There are quite a few software engineers in this community. =)
Even though there is no context menu, you can drag a folder to Engine and it will create a playlist for that folder and it will recursively traverse the dropped folder structure. If it finds compatible music files, new playlists will be created in said subfolders. I use this feature all the time when i purchase music.
Feature requests are welcome, and voted on by the community, though there is no guarantee that it will be accepted.
