This video demonstrates how you can use auto-loop (in conjunction with proper phrasing) to free your hands to do other things. It’s good to be mindful that you set up the auto loops and plan your mix accordingly.

For those wondering, the “phrase meter” is manually set up & animated in FCPX and nothing magic, though it is extremely useful for me to help show folks how I tend to manage time in my mixes.
