Everyone that has one or two votes will always vote for features new to djing like stems but what engine needs is the obvious features

If we all only get two votes of course the features new to DJing will always get the most votes. That is why the voting system is flawed. We need the obvious features that other competitors have and with the way the voting is going we will never get them.

Features such as?

In your opinion, like what?

It’s clearly not obvious to everyone. I am also curious.

I disagree. Look at the top 3 votes. Stacked waveforms, tagging tracks and RGB waveform. So all top votes are features the competition has.

  • sorting streaming playlists
  • viewing and sorting streaming tracks in desktop
  • ability to mix from desktop app
  • listening to stem analyzed tracks in desktop
  • Ability to delete, and erase analysis from tracks on player.
  • stacked waveforms between players

These are just a few I can think of off the top of my head, but there is many small things that can easily be changed that are overlooked because of the new feature voting system. Maybe we can have votes for certain categories or new votes once something has been implemented.

And that’s the blind spot that many many people have. They don’t realise they’re not the only DJ equipment user in the world, and they don’t realise that other users will have other workflows, other ways of mixing, different work ethics

A feature which one person thinks is “essential” at least an equal number of people simply won’t use that same feature.

The same for any second feature which one person would say is “impossible to live without” at least an equal number of people simply won’t use that feature either.

Same for the third feature

The forth feature

The fifth

Sixth

Sounds like you want Pioneer AiO hardware with Rekordbox with full stems support but you have buyers remorse.
