Connect the USB to your PC, create a new playlist in the main collection, add several tracks to it (preferably with different attributes for clarity), sort by any column (for example, BPM), then reorder them using the context menu. Start syncing, optimize your library, and eject the disc using the program. Insert the drive into the device while it’s already turned off. Open a test playlist; play order should be selected for sorting. Here’s the gist of the error: the tracks will be in the order you moved them to the playlist, not the order you moved and reordered them later. Resyncing solves the problem, and everything returns to normal. Both versions are 5.0.0.
