Then the three of you have something in common and minority ish with your setups, outside that if Engine.
are you using itunes as well? as said from PKtheDJ, there must be some certain way you are using the software from the standard way. Since many people (incl. me) dont have the corrupt drive. To solve this we need to recreate the failure point and than we can give it to development team.
Can you forcefully create the corrupted harddrive?
Maybe at all the people here who have this failure. Try to doc. and recreate the failure and give a detailed report with all the stats to the forum. I know this is some pain, but since you have the fail all the time. Or every time, there must be something specific.
I think you all dont just use engine, but an extiension 3rd party software as well? One workaround would be to eliminate the 3rd party software like itunes. Yes this is not the best way, but since you have a broken engine library all the time, it is probably less effort, than using iTunes. Create some folder in the explorer/ finder for every playlist and than create from them the engine libarary( fresh library)
If the crashes still occur it is not the iTunes sync. If it occurs, than there is something wrong with that connection.
I can promise you as a guy in the IT sector, if you can provide the way to recreate the problem it will be way faster to solve this bug. I know it is not your job, but you want to have it fixed and the DEVs appreciate every help they can get.
