Engine DJ Already running on Apple M3

Hello, I’m using Denon DJ Software (version 3.4.0) for Apple Silicon and every time I close the app when I try to open it again it says “A version of Engine dj is already running”. I cannot find any related process in the Activity Monitor, the only way I found to fix it is restarting the laptop, it doesn’t make any sense. Any workaround? This didn’t happen with my intel mac book.

I use M1 and M2 macs, and don’t have this issue.

Did you do a fresh install of Engine, or did you do a copy your entire machine with migration assistant?

Hi Guys, I have the same problem on my M1 … I did install of 3.4.0 and the issue is still there. Anyone knows how to completely deinstall engine before reinstalling it?

Thanks John

ive never had this happen to me, is there a chance you have downloaded a newer version of Engine and installed it alongside an older version instead of overwriting it? I guess this would be visible in the applications folder.

I use that app when i want to uninstall and not leave any thing behind

Drag the desired app into the program from the applications folder
