I recently bought a set of sc2900’s and had them serviced they work fine but having problems with running tracks through engine 1.5.2 , it keeps crashing and saying errors on every tune in the file I loaded up .I can get a semi workable usb if I run it through Lexicon then engine from there but still lots of tunes won’t open that are on it .I watched a video on YouTube for using engine with the sc2900 but his screen version of engine looks very different from mine . Unsupported freq or bit rate the most likely cause. You need to check your collection

48khz mp3’s are the most common problem.
Also, best use TODAY of SC3900/2900 (players from 2012) is as controllers for DJ software - primarily VDJ due to HID support. Sencond best: both players into a LAN hub to a laptop with Engine 1.5.2 and do the track browsing/loading from there.
