@Kostas_Grekas Version 4.6.0 simply makes the R.S.One compatible with SDJ Pro 4.0.3. If a version is released for Prime Series and Numark MixStream XXX players, it will likely be version 4.5 or 5.0, incorporating some features from the R.S.One.

We’ll have to wait a little longer! I imagine an update will come between mid-March and early April.

I wouldn’t worry too much about feature fomo.

It’s very usual, and still good practice that when a whole new system comes out, that a quick firmware release will be released for that one model - usually just patches for a few users and early adopters, who find some very niche issues which even very stringent and deep beta-testing couldn’t be expected to find.

… and maybe they’ve chucked in a serato link, once Serato got their own digit out and added the new hardware to its “approved” list of approved hardware.

Don’t worry, rane users haven’t got that new cappuccino maker which SC and prime plus users have been threatening to jump ship to pioneer for.

Whoever slid that inkjet printed compliment slip into your Prime at the time of purchase, stating that you were entitled to 52 free firmware updates per annum, was probably also trying to sell you a magic lamp with a genie in it - which may be the only way you’re going to get everything you want, or seem to expect to be handed to you, free of charge

I know the range system one is the baby right now but man it would be nice if the older engineos could get some easy quality of life updates. My mixstream pro go is good for what it is but a software update could make it great.

Why is it “frustrading”? The update is just to add Serato support - which other products already have (i.e. the rest of us don’t need it).

Can anyone confirm if stems are on the unit yet? Jake hill showed his beta version where he swiped on the track and it brought up stems as an option?

If it’s not there it’s a bit weird releasing an updated version pretty much just for Serato support …….

I don’t want to install it as I have a wedding on Saturday with the System One and don’t want to take the chance someting will mess up. Thanks!
