Edit stars?

hi guys,

after 3-4 years im finally starting to use the Prime Go, its a fantastic little beast to mix ‘on the Go’ :slight_smile:

Question:

how can i rate a song? I can see it reads stars, but there is no way to actually edit them?

Its WAY too much work to write down the song and my rating, then go to software, rate, and reimport…

Im going through a lot of songs from pools, using stems and samplers so i cant really test this on the software alone. Its all beeing rated DURING mixing, even during club nights! Not behind a laptop :slight_smile:

please advice!!

I’d add my vote to the existing request, for this , if it offered 10 stars, rather than the questionably useful, 5

Though, 5 stars is the ‘de-facto standard’ across any DJ and music software, including iTunes / Apple Music and streaming services. Should be more than fine enough for most DJs. An option could be to allow half-star increment rating, which would equal 10 rating steps.

For conversion tools like Lexicon, a setting could ‘convert’ something like 3.5 stars to 4 stars then, so nothing gets broken here.
