Dublicates in Playlist possible?

Hello,

I am new to engine prime. Is it possible to have one Track multiple times in one playlist? I ve tried to drag & drop one track multiple times but as far as I see it’s not possible. Is there a word around or something that iam missing?

I think from a DJ point of view, most of us don’t want to have duplicates in a playlist. It’s something we would want to avoid.

From my experience:

Duplicates in a playlist can happen for a few reasons:

  • you have duplicate files in different locations on the same playlist
  • you have duplicate files with different file extensions (.wav, .mp3, etc.)
  • duplicate files that have the same metadata, but different file names.

a workaround is to create multiple instances of the track in your library, with a different suffix in the file name, then you can add them to a playlist more than once.
